Earth, wind, fire and water have come together to form some of the most enchanting islands on earth.  In a landscape dominated by volcanic peaks, the earth and warm tropical waters have brought people from around the world to come and celebrate life.

Bali calls with its beauty and rich tapestry of spirit, nature and song. Temples abound everywhere.  Offerings to the sprits and festivals are a constant thread of everyday life..  We will explore the temples, marketplaces, enjoy fresh cuisine and experience the local performances.

 

Java is the capital of Indonesia and Yogyakarta is the center of its culture.  Laid-back and friendly, it welcomes with its rich history, music and arts.  We will visit the wondrous 9th century Buddhist and Hindu complexes of Borobudur and Prambanan with their rich history carved into stone. The vibrant city of Yogya is alive with markets during the day, robust local food served at sidewalk restaurants and music at night. We will enjoy the night performance of the Ramayana under the stars at the foot of Prambanan.

The sights, sounds and smells of these enchanting islands are indeed exciting.  They also offer us a time balanced with history, culture, relaxation, shopping and a wide choice of activities.

15 Days/14 Nights 

4 nights: Sanur, Bali at 5* ocean front hotel and spa

4 nights:  Ubud, Bali at 5* luxury hotel near Ubud

3 nights:  North coast of Bali - overlooking the ocean from a hill resort

3 nights:  Yogyakarta, Java at 5* Heritage hotel

All domestic transportation including all airport transfers, private cars and professional drivers between all locations and for all tours, cultural events, sites and activities in itinerary.

Entrance fees for all sites, cultural events and activities in itinerary which includes:

Cultural Performances:  5 afternoon or evening performances of local dances, music and local ceremonies including the world famous Ramayana in Java

Historic sites and activities on Bali and Java:  Rice terraces, Borobudur Buddhist complex, temples, ancient villages and much more.

Optional Activities:

Walking, hiking, swimming, cooking & dance classes, dolphin boat trip, yoga and spas. 

We will assist each person to arrange activities not included in our itinerary.
